I didn't catch his name, but a USAF general was one of the Grand Marshalls for the race (along with a PA Guard general) It was probably his ride.Originally Posted by Chris102

Here are a few more from the weekend:
PA ANG EC-130J performing a fly-over at the start of Sunday's race:
MedEvac choppers in action during the race. N116MB departed with a patient, probably someone from the crowd as there were no on-track incidents that would have required transporting a driver.
N891T was parked outside the track. After the first copter departed, she was flown in to the helipad at the infield care center.

New Jersey man dead after fall from camper
Of The Morning Call
11:57 PM EDT, August 5, 2007
A New Jersey man died Sunday afternoon after he fell from a camper and hit another one at Pocono International Raceway, a Lehigh County coroner's office spokesman said.
Peter Dipierro, 29, of Toms River, was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where Dr. Ronald Lutz pronounced him dead about 5:30 p.m., said Paul Zondlo, chief deputy coroner. Dipierro fell from the top of a camper about 4:30 p.m. and hit a different camper as he fell, Zondlo said. He said Dipierro died of severe head injuries caused in an accident. Zondlo said no further investigation is planned and there will not be an autopsy.

Would anyone know what the full tail number of the C-37A is? Would it be 89-90404, since it's from Andrews AFB?
Got it - it's 99-0404
