Rom was that you with the Bears cover ? I think it was bears... If so, sorry we didn't get to meet. I was dead tired by the time I left and crashed as soon as I got home. I was lazy but I would normally go over and introduce myself :-)

Nice grabs all. Good seeing the boys today after a long time and great lunch Mark, did you get that Grilled Cheese(burger)?. I was at Costco when Teleton came in UNANNOUNCED again... ugh! That's like 4 times I miss it WHILE AT JFK spotting! Epic Fail!

Some suicide shots and a video while I ran around doing errands!

Ha, Manny, you tried, at least!
Btw Mark, that US ERJ was actually an E175 operated by Republic, which is odd.

Manny is that D800 video? Guessing because of the panning and the lens motor noise

I started my day at an alternate location and then met up with the rest of the boys.

William, while I shot it on the D800, the poor quality is due to ME (who sucks a_s_s shooting DSLR Video) not the camera :-) And YouTube does NOT help... whatever it was you meant by "the panning" I only assume you were referring to frame skip or something?

The Saudi is a new regi (TF-AMF) which I had not seen before... still run by Air Atlanta Icelandic, but I had not seen it before, especially in colors... there is a pic of it on JP.net by Zee71 :)

Manny.....I don't need no stinking "Grill Cheese Burger", I just want a Grill Cheese! Thanks again for the eats!

Heat haze at North Woodmere park was minimal!

It was nice to see a bunch of us out....Manny, Eric, Jason, Akie, Steve, Rom, Joe, and Don.

That Saudi Cargo has been here are few times but not in the greatest light....I got her last week, but in the worst possible conditions from Bayswater. Finally she came in good light!

Morning Emirates A380 arrival on 22L:

Hey Manny. Yes that was me. Don't apologize, I could have introduced myself too! It was my first time spotting in 18 months and I guess I was trying to find my points of reference again :) Next time buddy, I know who you are ;) Kudos to Mark for having recognized me after all this time, and after we had met only once in the past.

A few more from this outing:

Busy day on 22L. Brings back memories of the old days when we stood on the hill on Rockaway Blvd. waiting for the morning Concordes and we got bit by bugs. Great shots. Love the AMX special livery and the SIA. Isn't SIA supposed to be the A388 from FRA or was this a special flight?
