Eric can answer better about Yankee games, but I've never had a problem at Citi Field (or Shea before that). I regularly bring my 40D and 100-400mm combo in. I have a smallish camera bag that they fit into. Security does look in the bag, but usually all I hear is "Nice camera!"

I could bring a Leica in, that's a nice camera. You mean can you bring your DSLR with your telephoto lens and the answer is yes. I mean I don't think Manny is getting in with his 200-400.

I actually prefer shooting at Yankee Stadium, I purchase a cheap ticket off of stubhub, but never sit there. I end up standing behind the $125/$200 seats and shoot from there. very close to the field and they let you do it.
