KFLL - 10/3 and 10/4 (image heavy)

I recently (unofficially) moved to the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area...perhaps becoming permanent pending a job interview in Miami tomorrow (10/5). A very abrupt yet welcome change in life. Although I will miss JFK and LGA, I may be able to get used to the 3holer action down in MIA...just sayin'.

In any event, I had the privilege of shooting with Mark Lawrence this afternoon which was a LOT of fun. After Mark took off for work I stayed a few more hours and shot while the parking lot at FLL filled, including a minivan of three of the nicest people I've ever met pulled up next to me. They proceeded to back into the parking spot, opened the back hatch, and started pounding away at a cooler full of beer. Over a great conversation and a lot of fun, the following photography was committed. Enjoy!

thanks guys! i honestly feel like the first time i shot JFK when everything was a "catch" until i realized that they're all regulars....but still awesome to see new stuff in the collection! standby for more FLL and MIA this week!

Mike, sorry about the abrupt change. Does that mean I can walk into The Mounds without feeling "stupid"? LOL

Great set Mike! Thanks for posting the ATR. I've been waiting to see that since you said you snapped a pic of it yesterday. Looks like quite a selection there. I definitely can't wait to visit FLL in feb if all plans go accordingly. Fingers crossed!

Gene, when are you headed down there? I don't have any concrete plans yet, but was thinking Feb. Maybe we can all get the timing right and meet up for an afternoon of spotting at FLL or MIA with Mike!

uhh....i hope kenny or spellman can chime in with me but i would be inclined to say "uh...no...it's not only encouraged but expected" (i'm just not going to say who expects that)
