    KMSP in the morning

Got out spotting with a coworker this morning, cold, cold, cold Tomorrow 6-12" of snow.

Here are some quick edits, sorry about the dust spots

#1 Royal Air Force C-17 No clue what she was doing here but I was happy to see her!

I'll take sub-zero without the winds any day. Mark and I endured 30MPH winds for long periods at a time and I was not a happy camper. It took all of 30 minutes in my car to feel my face again LOL.

LOVE the C-17 ... what the heck is that doing in the US? and in St. Paul?

Looks like one of you has the 1D and a 400 f/5.6? Other one is a 7D or XXD and a 70-200 f/2.8?

With gear like that, and surprise visitors like those, I'd brave the cold, too!

    Great shots!

Thanks TIS. Good spotting on the gear, I have the 1D and my co-worker just picked up the T1i. Had the XSi on the tripod and had to scurry into the shot with the 10 second time

I totally shocked to see the C-17, the C-130 is relatively common. 934th ANG has 8-12 stationed here. It is always a pleasure to see them in the air.
