    CLT 2/12+New Lens!

    All-
I headed out to CLT for a bit yesterday to try out the new lens. I will say it is fantastic except for the fact that when you zoom, your pinkie might hit the focus ring which will screw up the focus until it autofocuses again. Sorry for the massive amount of pictures!

I actually really like this one with the moon!

Couldn't do this with the old lens! (Wouldn't focus)

I saved you guys the pain and took out about 10 more CRJ-200s lol. Any comments, feel free!

Nice shots Adam. My favorite is the Continental 737. What lens did you get?

Also I noticed some of the CRJ have "Caution" stickers on the engines. What is up with that?

Yeah, I always prefer Boeing takeoffs. They're so much more powerful. They say "Caution. Low clearance." I have no idea why that one CR7 had it much bigger than the others, though.

Thanks! It's the Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6 with Vibration Reduction.

Oh, we're supposed to hit 75 and sun on Friday, so maybe we can shove a little sunshine and warmth up there for now. I'm hoping to be back up by July to visit the grandparents, which gives me plenty of spotting chances. Thanks Manny! Your work is fantastic!

Those stickers on the CRJ's are new.... The belt on a belt loader if you ever look close though is REALLY CLOSE to the engine when the ramp guys set up though so it would make sense... Anyone else notice that Continental 737 is actually a 300?

Nice shots Adam, you have 2 shots of N165US, only been flying about 2 weeks since emerging from repaint. And HISS CO retired their last 733 over a year ago dude !
