I did not have anything worthwile
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Here are a few of my favorites (without repeating some already posted by others). My favorite was the 707 during UN week and a couple from LAX during a few business trips earlier this year.

Favorite from JFK during UN week:

As military shows go, I made a trip to California JUST to capture this :-) The rest was icing on the cake

...and there were supposed to be six ships altogether. One had mechanicals and one bailed because there wasn't enough money in it.

Meeting Steve Hinton, shaking his hand and watching him pilot Glacier Girl was a real treat for me!

try as i may i just wasn't able to make that show but i too would've flown clear across the country to see those!!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Well, I actually normally wouldn't just go to Cali for an airshow as much as I would go to ALL airshows (man I can't wait to retire LOL) but when I heard of what they were going to do, I HAD to be there. I really am glad I went regardless of the P-38s as the Capital Airshow is really a great show on its own!

My wife and daughter were treated very nicely by all the volunteers at our VIP tent, which makes it easy for me to enjoy the show!

A couple that seem like long ago lol.

Troop Charter to CYOW, in long gone NWA colors.

Freshly painted Star Alliance CO at EGLL

A beautiful Tristar at CYOW to pick up some stranded troops when their VC-10 got a cracked windshield.

    Unexpected DC-10 troop charter.

Invited inside the airport perimeter at CYUL to capture the first ever AF 380 to Montreal.

I haven't edited any from my last trip to YYZ but I got the inagural Hainan A346 and a TK Star Alliance 343.

Since I had seen the Prince's 747 twice this year (and Brandon already posted it as a catch of the year) I decided not to use that one. So instead, here are my three:

I got lucky that I didn't leave BFI, instead reorganized my car, to catch this beauty do 2 flyby's prior to landing.

Finally caught the Denver Broncos owner's plane. This is a personal catch of the year since I am a HUGE Broncos fan:

And finally just a really cool looking plane that I had never seen before:

As far as a few runner up's to the Tristar for me:

    Dumbo the C46

    USCG G-V

    VP-BRT

    Truck vs Gulfstream

Can't forget Evergreen! What a catch! I was undoubtedly a happy camper that day to see such a rare bird.

I don't get the Evergreen... I see it many times a week... ??? This one to me should be a catch of the year I guess. I will likely never see it again this year ...
