    Hangar B Floyd Bennett Field

With all these threads about HARP recently, I thought I'd throw some shots from my recent, and first trip there a couple days ago.

Very nice Mark. Are they letting people near (and inside) the C-97G ? When I was there last I couldn't get anywhere near it.

The C-97 is privately owned, so you can't enter it, unfortunately.

nice shots! i love that hangar, just wish i had more time so i could volunteer. where is that pinup? never saw it before.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Unless you get to talking with the guys there and they invite you aboard...

They are in the middle of restoring her to flight status, so with so much going on around her, it can be difficult to invite guests to come aboard.
