    JFK 8/9/2011 (Pre - A380)

I headed out early to catch the morning arrivals while I waited for the Korean A380. They were landing 31s until about 8:10 and then switched to the 4s. I gotta say that I could not have asked for better conditions in the morning. Just wish they had stuck around til the Korean showed up.

    Some morning cargo arrivals

    Finally caught this one...

    Pleasant surprise seeing this one...

Almost missed this one since the gate wasn't open at Bayswater when I arrived. Ended up shooting it from the street.

Afternoon (rain) shots to come later on.....

    awesome pix !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

    Thanks buddy!

Here are some more shots from Tuesday. Including a few from the rainy afternoon waiting for the Korean departure.

Finally was able to get head-on shots of 4L from Bayswater with little to no heat haze.

Here is one of my shots prior to A380 departing.

It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do
