    ATA DC-10s

I didn't realize that ATA now has 4 (at least) DC-10s!

I saw this one on Anet and it looks really wild.

    [airlinerstp://www.airliners.net/open.file/1318557/L/[/airlinersIs there no 703 or 704?

Phil, I don't see 703 or 704 on my source sight.

On the below site if you click on the numbers on the DC-10 line under active, stored, and history you can get more info. Of the ex NW 10's they acquired looks like they are using 2 for parts and 3 where leased to World.

I really enjoy this site. So much info if you know where to look for it and they do accept photos and even have screeners. Will upload some of mine when time permits.

    Cheers

i thought that most, if not all, the NWA DC-10 are getting picked up by AMT.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Their plan was to take on 9, using two of those as spares. After the Global Aero Logistics merger with World and NAA, they decided ot give World a few of them.

I saw one at GSO on Sunday.

N706TZ, but it was in the middle of a repaint with the UA grey c/s still showing on most of the aircraft, but the belly and tail were complete in ATA colors.
