Any VDub drivers here

So tomorrow I am either buying a VW Passat GXE or a Saturn . I am really hard up for the VW but I was wondering as it is a German car what others might think if anyone here has owned VW's and could shoot some feedback at me.

I drive an Audi, which is produced by the same company as VW. It's a good car, reliable, and you can tell was put together well. Maintenance is the only thing I wish wasn't so bad. The way German cars are built and the parts used make working on the car more time consuming and more expensive. If you are leasing, or buying and a warranty is included I'd go with the VW.

I am all about the V Dub but I keep hearing mixed bag stories on quality of the vehicle and massive mx issues on some review forums like edmunds.com and such. As it is my insurance is going to be through the roof and I am going to live at LGA to pay that and the rest of my bills. We shall see. Today is the big day though!
