    This weekend!

Anyone heading out this weekend? The weather is looking so good there's no reason not to...temps in the high 70s, dewpoints in the 40s, sunny, light winds. I haven't made specific plans yet, but I'll probably head to LGA at some point if they are using the Expressway Visual approach.

I was at the World's Fair Marina watching EXP31 arrivals, but I only stayed for about an hour because my P/S (not to be confused with POS) camera doesn't have enough zoom for that location and I was uncomfortable with the amount of police presence. I gotta buy a Mets cap so I can blend in :)

Went out today to JFK, talk about fantastic light! First hit up Firestone for 31R and nailed Zoom and then moved over to the mounds for 22 where the light was just smashing. Great to meet some new guys today and always good to see Tom Turner and Art and Anne were out! Overall a great day.

Do they generally use the 22s for international arrivals even when the winds favor the 31s? The Mounds and North Woodmere Park are the only places I've ever really gotten decent shots, but I didn't go there yesterday because of the wind direction.
