Avianca has placed an order with Boeing for three additional Boeing 787 aircraft.

The Colombian carrier now has a total of 15 787 jets on order. It originally ordered a dozen in 2007.

List prices indicate the value of the new deal at around $620 million, bringing Avianca’s total 787 order book to a value of $3.1 billion.

Boeing says the three new planes were already accounted for in its public orders and deliveries database, which until now attributed them to an unidentified customer.
