As summer begins to cool down and we approach the slowest travel months of the year, JetBlue is once again offering some bargain flight packages for frequent fliers.
Gone are the unlimited “All You Can Jet” passes. This year, JetBlue is selling “Go Packs” — packs of 10 one-way flights for a flat price on a few predetermined routes from September 12 through December 19. The packs range in price from $699 out of San Juan for flights to a few of JetBlue’s Caribbean destinations, up to $2,499 for the big transcon routes: Boston or NYC to/from Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Unlike the All You Can Jet passes, you can share the Go Pack with your friends. As such, taxes and fees are charged at time of booking. Conversely, TrueBlue points are awarded to whoever purchases the Go Pack, not to the actual travelers.
Be advised that you won’t be able to use a Go Pack to fly your family to Grandma’s Thanksgiving dinner, as November 20-26 are blacked out.
