Space Shuttle Enterprise has debuted at New York’s Intrepid Museum on Thursday after a long, somewhat tumultuous journey from Washington DC.

We got a sneak preview before it opened to the public and were mighty impressed, not just with seeing Enterprise up close, but with the layout of the Space Shuttle Pavilion that houses it on the deck of the aircraft carrier.

Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is open seven days a week during the Spring and Summer. Admission for the museum and the Space Shuttle Pavilion is $30 for adults, $23 for kids 7-17, $16 for kids 3-6, and free for kids under 3. Seniors and college students with ID get in for $23. Admission for military veterans is $23, while active and retired military are free.

Visit the Intrepid website for full pricing details and museum hours.

In the meantime, check out our photos of the Enterprise in her new home.
