A Boeing 747-400F operated by Asiana Airlines crashed into the sea off the southern coast of South Korea early Thursday morning local time.

According to a CNN report, the plane disappeared from radar at 4:28 am Thursday. Wreckage began washing up three hours later, but neither the plane nor crew have been located.
The flight was enroute to Shanghai from Seoul.
