Sneak Peek Photos: Inside a Boeing 747-8I Under Construction

Boeing 747-8 under construction

We got a sneak peek inside a new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental being built in Everett, Wash. on Saturday, a day ahead of the model’s first public display scheduled for Sunday.

This plane is not the aircraft which Boeing will show off tomorrow, but one ordered by an unidentified private customer who will use it as one of the world’s largest business jets.

    I just have to comment, the plane depicted here is the 747-8 Freighter probably line #1437 for Cathay Pacific, you can tell from the smaller join tool, the shorter upper deck, lack of windows and the big Cargo door in the side in the Final Body Join photo. 1438 is the next Intercontinental. The nose on view of the plane in Final Assembly is probably another Freighter line #1435 if the photo is current. 3rd Intercontinental is still in Systems Install. The Rollout was Awesome!

      Sorry , 1438 is also a freighter.. The next commercial plane line# is 1439 and 1440 , followed by line # 1443…
