Photo Gallery: LAX Observation Deck Open For Business

LAX Theme Building and control tower

The observation deck on the roof of LAX’s Theme Building reopened to the public on Saturday after being shuttered for nearly nine years. The deck, the only one of its kind at any major US airport, will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 5pm.

Despite some not-so-cooperative weather, photographer Mike Arcellana was there to capture this important milestone for planespotters and aviation enthusiasts. Here are his photos:
