    Arsenal of Democracy

On May 8th the 70th anniversary of VE day there will be a large fly over of world war 2 aircraft over Washington.
It looks to be one of the largest and most diverse fly overs of WWII aircraft.

Yes, they'll be flying out of both Culpeper Regional Airport (CJR) and Manassas Regional Airport (MNZ) in VA for the flyover.

Right now it looks like the AAM will be flying their P-47 Thunderbolt "Jacky's Revenge" in the flyover
You can check the "Flyover Formations" tab on their site for the latest info on aircraft participating.

I was at DC for this flyover. It was great to see so many warbirds showed up in one event. Here are some of my pictures.

About half of the pictures I took were blurry, out of focus. It was either my skill has deteriorated due to haven't done aviation photography for too long, or the auto-focus in my camera was acting up. Anyhow, better get this problem resolved before the airshow season. :)

Excellent camera work!! Using multiple camera to catch the action and was that Rob Reider doing the narration?
