    Blue Bravest Shoot in Houston

I have been wanting to get some shots of the Blue Bravest ever since it came out. Unfortunately, JetBlue only sends the Embraers to Houston. Our schedule changed a bit this past week, and one of our Boston flights was operated by the A320. Originally, they were only supposed to be the sharklet A320's with the boring barcode tail; however, I sent a few emails asking for a tail swap. This past Friday, about an hour before departure from Boston, the swap was made. By the time I got to work and saw it was coming in, I could have kicked myself for not bringing my camera to work! I checked before I went to bed the night before, and it wasn't showing coming to Houston. Anyways, I live 45 minutes from work, so I drove right back home to get my gear. I also called a friend of mine to come out to shoot it. He is a former FDNY EMT, and I knew this plane would have a special meaning to him. As of today, Houston is an all Embraer station again indefinitely. Here are the shots I got.

Me sweating my arse off in high 90's and high humidity HOU weather.

My friend, Chris, who was an EMT in New York.

Thanks, everyone! It's definitely a snazzy livery - probably my favorite one out there right now.

Timothy I love the Awesome shots and scheme and also I am very impressed with your determination in trying to get this Special bird re-routed to HOU and love that you drove home to get your gear. Despite the heat and humidity and looks like mid day the light seemed to really co-operate with a Beautiful sky and lighting. I don't have a DSLR just a large point and shoot (Panasonic FZ-150) but I learned a long time ago I always take it to work (LGA) every day cause you never know whats going to come in and surprise you.

    Bravo

Awesome shots. One of my favorite liveries out there. I might be partial though.
