So the Washington Aerospace Partnership – a group of leaders from business, labor and local government formed to promote the growth of aerospace in Washington state - made a straightforward pitch in the ad: “Our state is still in the hunt for Boeing’s 777X” so legislators should pass the massive transportation package Boeing wants as yet another incentive. But there across the top of the ad, emblazoned with the slogan “The Future of Washington” , is a large photo of … an Airbus A319.
