GTI5461 from IAD to Duba. This plane was delivered first to Atlas air then leased to TNT then back to Atlas then to Global Supply Systems and now back to Atlas, they didn't bother to repaint the tail art this time. Theres also a strange mark on the rudder...

UZB101, seems to have no standard arrival time...

The previous owner of this reg was a JAL 743

    AFR12

KLM641 with the revised ASIA font

One of three BER flights that day, tripling the flights from last time i was at JFK

    ELY7

Operating on behalf of El Al Cargo as ELY841 from TLV by way of LGG

QFA107 went for the 13 split, NOOOOO!

    AZA610

AFL102 77W went for 22R, at least there were some nice billowing clouds behind.

    IBE6253

    RAM204

    7/8

    AVA42

SAA203 now with the "Beijing 2012" dragon sticker removed.

    A triple 7 operating flight triple 8

BWA520 looking good in AJM colors

I also got to see the sharklets again as well as the Jets logojet

Rom, if [we] say it's official, it is official.

...and you're right, NYCA is not any sort of official site... How are the other NYC Aviation-related sites doing?

Great set Kiffy, you bagged a nice set of rays from the burning ball in sky.

And this one was taken from that OLD [unofficial] spot!

the best set in a long while, the commentary, especially on the high altitude stuff, simply outstanding, keep them coming please !!!
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

Steve, this photo is from my post a few months ago. I have been shooting there for years. The only word of caution is that the house facing that location always has the windows open in the summer months. The resident opened the screen and watched me shooting morning arrivals on a Sunday AM a few weeks ago. 10 min later the police arrived and questioned me. This is the first incident I have had there in 10 years of spotting.

Thanks all- Here's where I was. Good for early morning 22L arrivals.

The pros- You are closer to the action, so you get less haze than from North Woodmere Park.

The cons- There are some trees and wires. You are visible from the busy road (some shelter from couple of low pine trees between you and the road). Ticks in summer months.

    -Don B.
