Enjoyed my visit to the solar impulse today, what a fantastic aircraft! Nice seeing you there Phil.
The Dreamlifter was still around the corner. Got a nice shot of it 'framed' by fence links lol

Great Solar images Mark and Many! I also like how you captured the architectural space that is Hangar 19. Many folks don't realize how many PanAm 747s passed through those four walls. It's like hallowed ground. Especially now that we're about to lose what's left of the PA Worldport.
In your photos you can still see the long notched roof designed to accommodate the upper deck and tail sections. That whole space was literally transformed with extensive scaffolding each time they'd roll in a 74- for D-check (complete overhaul). I was lucky enough to visit the joint as a teen. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip to Solar Impulse on Sunday for family matters. Thanks for Solar coverage and Hangar 19 memories.

Nice work William. Did you use any post processing filters like Topaz? Solar Impulse is history and all that, but for me seeing the Dream Lifter would have really lifted my spirits!

Thanks Don, no I just use Corel Paint Shop Pro, a little bit of sharpening, saturation, and contrast goes a long way.
I'm surprised the Dreamlifter has been sitting there so long, usually both of them are routinely busy. You could probably catch it at least on the ground if you go down there
