    BWI 9-13-12 (Ilyushin Il-76)

Just one photo from BWI on Thursday...a Volga-Dnepr Ilyushin Il-76 came in the previous day, and filed a departure for 4PM. Of course, with my luck, when 4PM rolled around, it went MX and they opened up the engines to have a look (one of many bad luck moments of the day). Eventually, FlightAware showed a new departure time of 6:10PM, but by 6, the engines and doors were still open. Some spotters started leaving, as it didn't look good. Amazing, they finally closed everything up and started taxiing around 6:20PM, with only a few minutes left of solid yellow-tinted light left:

Great climb-out shot! Did you happen to also catch the World Airways MD-11 that took off a few minutes afterwards?
