    Cathay 747-8F at JFK

I heard that Cathay has been sneaking in the 747-8F at night. Unless I missed something, I don't think anyone here has gotten it. Anyone have confirmation or pics?

Is it a 747 cargo? If so I took a few pictures of it earlier this summer from rockaway. If I have them saved somewhere handy I'll post one tonight.

    Phil,

Here's the one shot of it that I see in my Flickr accounts. It was nearing sunset and i was having dinner with some friends at the Wharf on the end of B116th St in the Rockaways. It was a 22R launch, and she cut back south/ southeast around Beach 105th St. or so. I'll check my hard drive tonight or tomorrow to see if I have others of it. I think I have the same shot of it as this but with the full length of her in the photo (I think this might have just been a crop job to zoom on the engine to nose view). Don't know offhand if I have more than the one other. My other Cathay shots are of the white triple 7 and the blue-green triple 7. I'll check later though. Enjoy.

TJK that's the "regular" 747-400F. The engines are a dead giveaway.

It was here a few days ago. Came in late at night, but didn't leave until the next morning. Keeping an eye out for it.

    Here is the real deal

    Senga's Photo, not mine

On August First, Hong Kong Trader (B-LJA) was here but got here at 1:00am and departed 4:30am :-( Although at 4:30 there is enough light for a long exposure or a very high ISO shot!

Passed the field on the way out and today was the regular 747.
