    Calverton F-14 and A-6

Surprised to see there was no Calverton thread.... Anyone else have photos of the F-14 and A-6? Would love to see other peoples perspective.

Here are some of my shots

I found this old shot of me on the runway... that was a fun day

I drove by there yesterday, had a shoot down the road. Didn't take any pictures though.

    Nice shots!

We all get great photos at times, we all get not so great photos ALL the time. I am not looking for the best shots of the aircraft, I am looking for your shots of the aircraft. I did not mean to intimidate anyone and it is not a most popular contest...at least I did not want for that. Please post all pictures you like of our to favorite east enders.

Had a google to find out the history of this, happy there is a fine monument noting the accomplishments of the site/company.

Seriously that was the issue.... I got to 92.98kts (109MPH) but could not really go any faster, I rejected the takeoff and still had about 1000 feet left at 0 IAS so Barber pole +1000ft = V1.

Now If I only could have rotated the friggin thing we would be really having a cool discussion!

I'm not a hater - I worry about you. It would be very lonely up in the tower on air show weekend without you!

    Meanwhile, back at the airplanes...

Every time I go out there I am still AMAZED at the size of this thing. I sit there and think "how in hell did this thing not only fly, but maneuver with the best of them". Am I the only one that thinks this?
