So mad I didn't go....I had a feeling they would change to the 22s for bad lighting on the Emirates, but of course, since I didn't go, it went 31L. Nice shots, guys.

Thanks.... Cary, just remember they don't usually change to 22's until around 5.

Not so... It went 22s and 13s yesterday around 2:00pm or 3:00pm or so... As a matter of fact, the Emirates was about the first one on 22L yesterday!

Yesterday, they changed around 1:30, and the WX forecast had the wind shifting at the same time today, so I figured they'd do the same thing. I guessed wrong I hope they don't remove those decals(?) as soon as the Rugby WC is done in 2 weeks.

ok. fine. usually when i'm out the runway change happens around 5. I'm talking about a 31's to either 22's or 4's.

Ha! "Demolition Man" just watch it again...

and as I told you before, remember NO ONE ELSE has this shot and likely never will!

So the Rugby Logo on the Emirates is not that big a deal in comparison if you ask me.

Hah, thanks Manny...I spent about 2 hours researching to find a spot for that pic.

Anyways, I'm glad at least Eric and Mark were able to snag some sweet shots of the Emirates (that LH A380 is killer too, Eric).

Steve..........I know this is the second time I've seen this bird here, so keep a watchful eye. I couldn't believe when I saw the registration come up on ACARS. I had my fingers and toes crossed hoping it was right and not a wild goose chase.

    Some more heat haze shots:
