just saw the preview the other day, looks very good! at least they got the sound of the P51 sounding right.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
George Lucas presented the premiere of the first Red Tails trailer at OSH11. Here he is waiting for a VIP tour of the 787 (he got to go on before the media folks.)
Great story of course, but it looks a little bit too cartoonish for my liking.
OSH12 will host a screening of the actual movie and a tribute to the actual Tuskegee Airmen.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
CGI,doesn't cut it,Battle of Britain circa '69, did it the right way, find real airframes,or at least some real airframes to tell the story.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!
