Well my friend who works for XLaire at ISP just sent me this email and I just got off the phone with him.
Hey Nick - Sorry can't let you or anyone else know when the plane is leaving. It's been too much of a mess in the past with people coming in our lot, climbing fences, etc. to snap a pic of him or the a/c.
take it easy man.
Now I know how I am viewed here because of how seriously I take security and spotting locations and to be honest I could care less because the facts usually support what I say like the cargo area at JFK and now we have lost a nice hook at ISP thanks to stupidity and complete inconsideration of people who feel it's their God given right to get shots of aircraft at any cost. I love rare birds too and you know what every once in a blue I may do it but to do it over and over and not use one's head will continue to result in crap like this. Personally I am done providing info on aircraft that are blocked on trackers which sucks because I have first hand knowledge of all the Sands movements but I am not going to deal with this total disreagard for the big picture. People's jobs are at stake and it's plainfully obvious people can't think about others when it's about them and rare aircraft.
I will end on this note... Private property means just that. Whether or not it's a 707. Also people block their movements on the trackers for a reason.
Now I am going to dispense with the who it was or who it wasn't but the damage has been done and I wrote this hopefully so we can avoid this scenario in the future.
