Thanks guys... it was a really nice sunrise... I have done that trip a lot in the past few months, only to be disappointed with low (horizon) clouds... This time it was not perfect but good enough. Now I just need some heavies rotating in front of the disc :-)

    Great shots, gents!
Oh gosh...not that dreaded LOT Star color scheme. I've been to JFK spotting 3 times and I've seen it all 3. I swear it follows me...

Adam, I wish we were all as lucky as you... it took me a few tries before I snagged it, and only because it was a mistake on ACARS.

I have to score some three holers too. I have one and the light is crap in it. Hope next time I come down (hopefully the 16th) I'll have a chance to get teh LH cargo MD-11 in goot light this time, along with the FedEx MD-11 that i missed last time down.

The fed ex MD-11 is a hit or miss. It isnt very common into JFK. LH MD-11 is usually sometime in the morning.

Although I really wanted a plane in the disc, they were on 31L Full Length and no late rotations :-(
