    CLT 1/29

    All-
Went out to CLT for awhile on the 29th. I just got my new power supply from Corsair, and my computer is back for editing. Enjoy and comments and criticism are always welcome!
When Lufthansa landed, a woman who usually "welcomes the planes in (Spiritually) began howling and running down the park screaming "LUFTHANSA!! LUFTHANSA!!" She then fell to her knees and began crying. A police officer approached her and calmed her down, but she went right back to howling. Not quite sure why she was howling about that specific plane though...

    American Eagle breast cancer!

Beginning to feel like JFK with all these heavies coming up.

Great shot of AirTran with the city skyline as the backdrop. Rest are very good as well! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys! Manny and Tad--Those are my two favorites as well, and are two of the reasons I love spotting at CLT.

Nice Adam. Looks like you have pretty good access down there, 110mm for the AirTran!

Thanks Jeremy. Yeah the city has a observation area that's right next to the runway, as well as a walking trail with access to benches right by the threshold. It's really fantastic, and the traffic isn't horrible by any stretch, either!

Thats a great idea Seahawks. I think I may do that in the spring. Fly down in the morning and catch a flight back in the evening.

Well it is easier if you live on that side lol, for me to do that I have to catch a red eye to land as the sun rises and then a red eye back to SEA since it is about a 6 hour flight.

Yeah I hear ya Seahawks. Thats whats keeping me from making a quick trip out to the west coast to shoot out in your area. I would love to go up to anchorage and get some shots from Boeing field.

Solid set of shots Adam! Are you CLT-based? Might run into there in the future since I tend to visit a few times a year.

Thanks Sharpshooter! I am, maybe I'll see you around!
