    More Thorough Schedule Breakdown?

    Hi, everybody.

Planning to attend, and I've read most of this thread. I presume (hope?) there will eventually be a specific breakdown of the show's schedule? I've checked out the various websites, but all I can find for the actual days of the show is "Airshow: 10AM - 3PM". Will something be posted that will indicate exactly when each event is scheduled?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

That was the one I had seen that just had the two days listed:
    Saturday May 28th
    Airshow 10AM-3PM
    Sunday May 29th
    Airshow 10AM-3PM

I was hoping for something along the lines of:
    9AM - B-17
    10:30AM - F-22 team
    12:15PM - B-25...
    ...etc...

Assuming it's not there because it's not been announced just yet, I'll keep checking for updates! You always seem to post stuff immediately, so I'm guessing we simply don't know yet. Thanks again!

Yes that is correct. If they announce that information (which they usually do) I will be sure to post it as soon as I can.

I don't remember seeing it posted here, but on the AAM's FB page, they are listing the CAF's B-24 as a participant as well. That means four WWII bombers on hand for the show!

BTW, speaking of those 4 Amazing WWII Bombers scheduled for the show, I'd sure love to see them followed up by a B-1B Bomber doing a HIGH SPEED PASS,because the Jones Beach show definitely needs MORE AFTERURNERS>>>>
Since the USAF couldn't give us the Thunderbirds this year, I'm still hoping they can make up for it by throwing us a BONE in addition to the F-22 and A-10! Ha! If you remember the 2007 show, you know how AWESOME the BONE was back then, and that year Jones Beach also had the Thunderbirds and A-10 too !!

    Chris,

You are always the optomist! That would be great to get a B-1, but unfortunately I think this years show, despite being a "Tier I Naval Event" is going to be a bit disappointing. I really hope I am wrong but we are less than two months to go and ......................... Still keeping my hopes up.

What amazes me is with all the contributions that Long Island has made to Naval Aviation over the years that this isn't getting more "metal"

It was confirmed today that the terminal will be a lonely place on Memorial Day weekend. All three visiting bombers will be on the AAM ramp, along with all other FRG-based air show aircraft. They expect to fill the entire ramp, from the museum to SheltAir, with show aircraft.

Night under the stars will benefit! Yahooo, I have the entire week off!
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

You can enjoy them here: My video of when I caught them in Punta Gorda FL on the 27th.

The act is impressive, just not very loud. They would have made a nice addition to the beach show if it could have been worked out. I hope to see them again, but this time I really want to see Snort solo the T-33! I'm not sure of the reason but he was in the all black L-39 as you'll see.
