    Alaska Airlines MD-80 Tail Strike on Takeoff



    Taking off from BUR, circa 1994 according to the comments.
    Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

    Is this a regular thing here? This one seems to be really close to striking too... or maybe it did and the sun prevented the visibility of the fireworks

    That 1st strike looked nice lol. that 2nd one didnt look like it hit. Very very close though.

    Nice sparks on the first and love the way it rocketed up. 2nd didnt hit but yeah close!!
