B757 TATL- Is It That Bad?

So I'm just wondering if flying a 757 (DL) TATL is all that bad. I booked a package deal for a trip to europe this august that was crazy cheap, but the only flight option was on a DL 757 JFK-ZHR. Seeing as how I'm 6'5", I was leery at spending upwards of 7-8 hours in a narrow body jet across the atlantic, but the price was too good to pass up (I need all that extra $$ for beverage purchases in Prague)

I know Delta has been upgrading their Int'l product of late and that this 757 should be different than their domestic ones...but I'm hoping to get some input from anyone who has flown a DL (or any airlines) 757 across the pond. Thanks in advance!

I've flown internationally on a 757 many times. It's fine.

Should be fine but I would love to hear your take on it come August.

Take plenty of photos in Prague. and please let me know what a good beer there costs now.

Back in 2005, if the beer was more than $1.20 a pint (US dollars), we left and found another bar! :borat:
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

    Take lots of pics-Check!

Also, my gal sat down and did the currency conversion and figured out that a pint should be in the $2.00usd range, which is more than fine by me...

Just pop some Ambien before the flight and you'll be fine! :)

Well...the flight leaves JFK at 10:20pm, so hopefully I can fall asleep naturally....

Guys, sorry for my ignorance, but what does TATL stands for? Trans-Atlantic something?

I'm 6'5" and have a tough time flying long trips in coach.

I'm also 300lbs too so that adds to the discomfort. :?

Yeah, being tall has its drawbacks!

I'm hoping real hard that the loads both ways will be light, it's a seasonal flight for DL (DL206/207)...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but their is no such thing as light loads on TA flights in Summer, especially on a plane as small as a 757. Coming from someone who has been in the industry a long time I would be shocked if both your flights have a load factor of less than 95 pct and if they are both 100 pct full I would say that is normal, sorry.

Have fun, I here Prague is great !
