On a related note, that particular bird was originally destined for Lehman Brothers,

Thus One Lima Bravo makes sense.
And tampons are a lucrative business. Nice.

Yeah, apparently they are. I think there could be more to it than meets the eye though. I just cant comprehend why they blacked all the windows out, made some other modifications to the faciluty and are putting a 24 hour guard on this airplane. It is just this jet too. The Falcon's are not so much secured. On another interesting note. I talked to TAG a few days ago about the plane and apparently it is already having SATCOM issues. Typical Gulfstream......

OK, What just too off from Republic about 5 minutes ago? Wasn't able to get outside in time, but it sounded like more than 1 that circled over Melville then headed back South.

Rob, that was an F/A18 that just rocketed off rwy14. Didn't see which squadron she was from but she was roaring!

Thanks Kenny! Ran out with the binoculars after he made the turn overhead, but couldn't catch him in the trees outbound.

Is that new hangar being built next to Talon theirs or someone else?

It is Talon's new hanger though I don't imagine it will have many new airplanes for a while. They have a problem getting anything but the BE400 and S76 into the air often.

On a second note. Look for a new hanger to possibly be going up shortly for Northeastern Aivation next to the old Summit hanger. The plans are being drawn at the moment.

Something just went over us on 110 in Melville, crazy loud. I didn't see what it was, but maybe?

Would make sense, a 737 took off at that time but I doubt it was crazy loud.

FYI- I heard there's a pretty good chance Blue Angel #7 could be
visiting FRG sometime this week, but it all depends on the weather,
so for all you spotters near FRG keep a close eye out for it this week
and if you happen to see it arrive please alert us on here ASAP, OK !!!
