What the hell, there were more jets at Farmingdale than there were at LGA!
I have NEVER seen more bizjets in my life than I saw in the hour or so I was there!!!

I just wished some of these were keepers.

    and a few more locals

    and a Pano

Fred, that's the end of the last school holiday weekend for this school year. Probably wont be that busy here again until Thanksgiving. Great shots! The way you shot the L-39 in the sunset is outstanding!

That pano is a killer too, I haven't tried an HDR pano's yet.

Then I apologize, 'cause that's even more impressive! Catching all that detail in the C47 with the sun at that angle? Bravo!

fred, i love the panorama. i didn't know FRG turned into gulfstream country.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

It has ALWAYS been Gulfstream country. Fred, the G3 with the fish on the tail used to be a SRQ frequent visitor. Very nice plane inside and out. And of course, one of my darlings.... 101NY. Good catches all around.

While I understand there are lots of Gulfstreams there, I was trying to explain that there was a very UNUSUAL amount of jet traffic.

Here are a few more shots from today

A few from the other day

Sorry if that was too much

    Thanks :borat:

    Lets talk danger!

(20 OZ Dunkin coffee **EXTRA LARGE** TAKEN THIS MORNING)

This always scares me as this has been posted many times in the past
in this post but this year with all the financial issues, if this is not fixed (and I am
worried), some one will wipe into a row of people waiting for the Blue Angles to depart.

(F-14 arrival that was suppose to be HUSH HUSH.... Can you imagine how many more will be here durning airshow?)

If someone hits the lip and wipes in to a crowd this will get a big reaction.
This is a big problem :(

They really need to fix that road before something bad happens.

I'm gonna have to get out there really early during the airshow

I'm thinking about changing my spotting location because of the condition of New Highway. Even though its harder to get a decent spot at the main terminal its better off then ending up next door.

The last hockey charter of the year is sitting over in Sheltair. The Miami Air Boeing will take out the Penguins tonite after the Islander game and to the playoffs. The Islanders go home but had a decent
    season which to build on.
