Dornier 328Jet sitting at Sheltair - N328CK now. Came in last night, probably a charter for whoever is in to play Hofstra. Parked right up front by the entrance gate, very tough to shoot.

Hahahah I just got a call from someone about that jet being there. A customer service agent I am friendly with at Atlantic called me and was like "Is there a such thing as a 2 engined BAE146? There is one across the field right now" I almost fell out of my seat laughing hysterically.
Southwest Airlines-"Once it pop's it's time to stop" Southwest Airlines-"Our Shamu's are almost real" Southwest Airlines -"We blow our top real easy" Southwest Airlines- "You can't top us..... really"

Thunderbird 7 is making the rounds to air show locations at this time, don't know when he is due into the area but if he shows up at Republic hopefully somebody will see it and pass it on. Thanks!

I see Gov Patterson was at Hofstra today announcing his run for governor. Did he fly into FRG? I ask that since he was
flying up to Rochester after that. Wonder if he used a fixed wing or one of the State Bell 430s. If a copter possibly they
secured an LZ by Hofstra instead,
    Thanks.

That would explain the NY State King Air 350 @ Atlantic this morning. There were no NYC helo's here at FRG today.

Meant to post these earlier - here is the latest addition to the Airpower Museum. It is an M-8 Greyhound. It arrived last Saturday, and is fully functional (well, except for the guns...) Expect to see it out and about during air show weekend.
