There will be a four ship F-15E strike Eagle flyover for the Open today in Flushing. Anybody know the time of the ceremonies, anthem, last match etc. I'm not a tennis watcher. Just a heads up to have your cameras handy.

No idea when they would do the flyover, but...
Women's doubles final: 1pm
Men's semifinal: 4pm
Women's singles final: 9pm
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
hope to see this from work...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Hey Scotty! I sure would love me some F-15s. Thanks for the heads up!

No prob. I would too. I remember see the T-38's flyover my house in the evening last year so I'm gonna guess 4?

I hear that they were supposed to fly over for the Men's Final, but that has been moved to tomorrow. I wonder if the flyover will be moved as wlel, remain at the same time, or be cancelled.

I may go flying today and just found this NOTAM for tomorrow the 8th:
ISP 09/027 DPK AIRSPACE HIGH PERFORMANCE ACFT DPK340020 10 NMR
3500/BLW AVOIDANCE ADZD WEF 0809082030-0809082130
This indicates 20 miles NNW of DPK for a 10 mile radius at that point between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. I think Flushing is 20 miles, about right? Are they staging out of FRG?
Looks like fireworks over E Northport tonight?
FRG 09/007 FRG AIRSPACE PYROTECHNIC DEMO 900/BLW 15 N .5 NMR
AVOIDANCE ADZD
WEF 0809072330-0809072350
15 miles north of FRG for a 1/2 mile radius below 900 feet, between 7:30 and 7:50 pm
