Bent Wings: Not Just for Boeings Anymore

    from Aviation Partners:

Certification on the Falcon 2000 series is planned end of year 2007. Blended Winglet retrofits for the Falcon 900 and 50 are planned for 2008.

a sexier airplane just gets sexier!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

That's hot, although not unexpected, since their new Falcon 7X was designed with the winglets. There's a winglet retrofit available for the Hawker 800 series, as well, but the thin winglets look out of place on a plane where everything else is short and stubby.

they designed winglets for the G-II first, then came the project for the Hawkers and 737s. 757s weren't far after than, and now the Falcons should start popping up soon.

boeing itself did the development work on those, not aviation partners...

Damn, those winglets are larger than I thought they would be. I can't wait to see those start rolling up at FRG & ISP. Nice!!!
