    The Mounds 9/25

Arrivals were using 13L and 22L so after going to the cargo area and quickly abandoning that spot since the light is still bad I hit the mounds and found Josh May and Tom Turner patiently waiting for VIPS. We had a nice session catching the French, a Globespan 738, an old TW DL 757 in new colors and AI 777 in old colors. The light at the mounds is crap but since it was so clear we had a at least 90 mins where the light was good.

Excellent shots, particularly for the French A-310. Looks like this is the 2nd appearance of th French A-310 in recent days.

WHEW! I'm glad someone caught that A310. I saw that probably at the same moment you shot it.

It was indeed a nice day! Snatched a few shots of some planes I've been hoping to get; among them, the following:

I hope for a lil' more VIP action next time, but I was certainly glad to catch a few other goodies like the FlyGlobespan 738 and Israir...God bless 40D!! :D
