Doing LGA and TEB by public transport

I'm in New York this weekend for 3 nights.

Plan on going to LGA on Sunday morning for a few hours and to TEB on Monday morning for a few hours. Don't have time for JFK  as the rest of my time will be spent being a tourist

Staying in Manhattan, what's the quickest / best way to get to both fields? I get to 'do' EWR by virtue of flying in to / out of on Saturday and Tuesday.

    thanks,
    hb

    Welcome to the site!

For LGA, the easiest way is probably to take the 4/5/6 subway to 125th Street, and then take the M60 bus from street level, which will take you to LGA.

I don't know much about getting to TEB.

If LGA is landing on 31 (which they usually are these days) and you have a long lens, I've found location C on the map to be the best place. Take the 7 train to Shea Stadium, then walk around the stadium, down the street with all of the auto repair places, and out to the water. I've gotten some decent shots here in the afternoon, but I've never tried in the morning.

To get to TEB, take the NJTransit 161 bus. It stops right across the street from the airport.

That's a great piece of information. Off now to look for the route and timetable. Many thanks, hb
