I heard they lost the AA contract, I'm not sure what that means for their level of service or perhaps they thought with Delta being much larger then AA that would be the way to go.
Looks like they're operating out of Gate 11 in terminal 3. Wasn't that the old Delta Connection gate where they provided the buses to the remote stands?
Was Gate 11 ever in use as an acutal gate, even with Pan Am?

From what I read , American Airlines needed the gate that US helicopter was using as part of their expansion here at JFK. The date that I saw was mid May.for them to find a new home. Looks like Delta is it.

It's not that they lost the contract with AA but got a "better deal". USH also signed a contract with SABRE.
