    Well its about time I joined in!

    Hi folks, and happy new year!

    I'm Geoff, 46, grew up in Stevenage, England under the approach to Luton Airport, with Britannia Britannias, Monarch 720s, Invicta Vanguards, Dan-Air Comets, and Court Line Tristars flying 2000 feet above the house!

    Ooooh if I knew then what I know now, and had the camera equipment to match!

    Anyway, Pinktristar honours the memory of G-BAAB, and orangetristar is just too long a handle to type anytime I want to log on to a site!

    First trip Stateside was 20 years ago, (Dec 20th 1986) and loved the place, (or the wacky folks I met) so much I came back several times before settling in Connecticut in 1990.

    Well, lifes turns and changes brought me to Newport RI, where I have been living for the last six years! (or is it 7?)

    PVD - Providence is my local, although Boston isn't too far away! Neither is New York City, and I plan on getting there more often this year for spotting and photography!

    Welcome Geoff! I remember those colorful Court Tristars, always thought that was a neat looking scheme. Hope to see you out spotting one day soon.
