Well, I'm plugging away but still not there yet. Here's yet another rejection.

I love the low light.

What was it rejected for? I'd guess bad size (proportions are out of the norm) and bad level?

Hi Phil,

It was rejected for incorrect proportions. I'm finally getting my subjects in focus (most of the time) and now I have to get the framing right. I don't know, sometimes the cropping and resizing screws me up. I've tried some things that Dave Budd has suggested to me, but no luck so far. I'll keep trying and one of these days I'll get some accepted.

Try some approach shots where they are coming right at you. You'll need a higher shutter speed so make sure there is plenty of light.

Photo's should be in 2:3 or 3:4 dimensions, and this one looks quite squared

I think I was sitting down with the camera pointed up. I thought it was a cool shot when I checked it out later.
Mel helped me out with editing the photo and it looks pretty good now.
