    Anyone want to go spotting with me???

    I was thinking of getting a new lens and wanted to know if anyone can let
    me know how good the quality of the strip-search...um, I mean lens is....

    I'd give you about five mins before until the entire 82nd Airborne comes down on you! I can't think of to many places where that setup would go over well.

    Haha.. I have an old Minolta SRT-102, and one of the lenses is a straight 500/6.3 - and, yes, it's a half-meter long! The filter diameter, if I ever bothered to put a filter on, appears to be 91mm, and no, I would never take it anywhere near an airplane, tempting as it may be.
