    Explosion photographs from 4/10/06

I wanted to share these photos from yesterday....pretty scary stuff. If you haven't yet, please read my story here: http://nycaviation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2124

Also, read one of the news stories here: http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/66838.htm

I actually sold my photos to The Post...but it seems they used someone elses shot for this editon....oh well :?

But....here they are for you to see...taken about 5 seconds after I heard the initial explosion

Yeah, I'll still get paid, but there's that underlying tinge of disappointment. Oh well. ;)

It was pretty scary....the smell of gas was really strong.

damn, so it was true. i forgot to look to see if i could spot the carbique but no luck. heard about this on monday at work...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
