I was alone spotting at JFK today :( w/ pics

Seems like I was the only one up to braving the crappy light and gusty winds at JFK today.....everyone seemed to be in BWI or DC or sick

I was lonely, so I went on a little ride....but first, the traffic to JFK was unbearable...lots of slow pokes tying up traffic....

Then I needed to make sure the runways were clear

caught a little kitty cat on the tarmac....poor kitty

then decided to really try and catch a few photos...

Got a Maxjet landing, then at the gate

    Love the AnA 777

Saw my first non-Airbus JetBlue. DUDE, the piano keys, on the planes butt! I love it!

my first time with Miami Air

Then got my first non Airbus JetBlue T/O

BA touchdown, do I upload either? Heck, do I bother uploading any of these??

Is this Emirates or Atlas?? Identity crisis?? Oh and I got a little snippet of EOS for those that love narrowbodies!

Then I got the other MaxJet (who took an hour flight later in the day)
and the El Al T/O. I just love El AL.. got the all white El AL too non pictured. I love their uniqur and ingenius logo!

I dunno but is anything here worth uploading? the light was poo poo..
    thoughts or comments?

Lastly, we can never appreciate the forest when we concentrate solely at the trees. I love to shoot ambiance. This photo personifies what today was..

I just love watching planes approach and land in crazy wind.

and that has made all the difference......yet...

I'm speechless. Great stuff Mario. I love that Emirates cargo bird. Now is the question - how I can be your best friend? ;)

    Good stuff

**** son, that is just AWESOME! I'd say you should try uploading all of them dude (well, maybe not the first and last two). I'm in love with that Emirates cargo bird and the BA 744 touchdown shot....must be an amazing experience getting ramp access at JFK. Good job Mario! :)

    Regards,
    -Omar S.

P.S: In addition to the excellent job Supermario did with his shots today, I'd like to point out that he did not make a single spelling mistake. :P

    NIck, sorry bud

I'd like to point out that he did not make a single spelling mistake.

I'd like to point out you need to do a bit more proofreading! I am not capable of a cleann no mistkae post....see: my El Al comment!

a force to be weckoned with. WHo let Elmer Fudd onto the site?? ;)

So Nick, you are telling me I got the first M250MY and its first landing into JFK? I'ts dedicated to you Nick!

acutally as I was typing this, anet rejected it. Why? I thought it was priority... now it gets rejected b/c I wrongly stated it priority.

See dude, I just dont have the time to be bothered man. My common logic would say, OK, this plane doesnt exist to anet yet yet, must be priority, first flight into jfk, etc, whatever, anyway, accroding to anet logic its not priority.

the minute I have to whip out a dictionary in order to upload to a site, I cant be bothered. Its no fun and why get nuts over it. SO my dedication is still yours NIck, but maybe on jpnet. yep hte spelling drops when i type quick.

I love different angles and they way they lead the eye

So Nick, if this is their first flight here with this plane, wonder what they are saying?

the wind made for fun landings.

And awesome approaches under the lights

    Brazilian Blue?

thanks all for now though, Got 900+ to go through.

N250MY is the first MaxJet B767-200 that has been flying for a while. It had a temp reg N770WD, which was a sticker placed over the N250MY. It has only been recently flying as "N250MY".

N260MY is (I believe) the 2nd B767-200 and it was previously reg'd PP-VNM, which arrived a few days ago? (I forget exactly when)

Thanks Mario! That is very nice of you. You got some drinks coming on me!

Mike is right I thought I saw 770WD today. Phil and saw 250 depart and 260 arrive. Clears that up.

Nick, the arrival and departure planes were both N260MY, the same aircraft.
