    Dallas Has Some Hot Chics!!!

I was on a biz trip this week and while landing at DFW I saw that unmistakable tail of the L1011 and got all excited. So I proceeded to spend my two hour layover trying to get a pic of her. Her position made it impossible to get a pic from inside the terminal so I took the 20 min trip on the DFW Skylink to grab her. Wasn't the most ideal setting to get a picture through the glass but I was pleased with the results. I don't take the Canon with me when I travel, its just to big, this was taken with my old C4000. This now is the third plane off my "have to get for 06" list. I already have PanAm at JFK, Slam Dunk One at ISP, and now this amazing bird!

Nice shot, Tommy! I just love the old 1011s. Is that an ATA bird without titles?

Yes John, she's doing military charter work hence the missing titles. On the other side under the pilots windows is a small decal that says "ATA Airlines".

Whoa! Great shot from the train.

I wonder if they're going to complete the ATA titles some day. It'd be pretty damn sweet to see this (or any of the 1011s - Retro or OC, too) in BWI in a few weeks, too. :)

    Hey Tommy,

thanks for the very misleading title - I was all exited while the page was loading and then this, a shot of one of those boring old rustbuckets. What disappointment....
....haha, you know I'm just kidding. Nothing better than a nice (very nice) Tristar shot....except for hot chicks of course, ha-HA! :)
