    techniques for sorting images? advice?

right now, I have my aviation pictures, each date has its own folder and then I label the airport.

but now I am thinking I should do them by airport, then within the thr airport folder, do by date, so in essence creating sub folders by date within the larger airport folder?

please advise me what you guys do. I'd like to hear how you might do it differently.
    thanks.
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

That's what I normally do, seems to work well so far.

That's right, I do airport>date (i.e.: LGA>2006_01_18) When I process them, I usually use registration, date and a letter if I have multiples (N123AB_2006_01_18_A.jpg). Also, I also use a couple of sub-folders for stuff I'm uploading to JetPhotos or NYCA.

While we're on the subject of file names, does anyone know a way around the 32 character limit for naming files in Photoshop?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
