Finnair MD-11 with Santa (??) on fuselage

Got an email from a friend that works with AY in HEL. Said they slapped some large decals of Santa on OH-LGC, Finnair MD-11. So, for those out at JFK around 355pm keep an eye out for LGC. Checked a.net for recent shots of LGC but nothing shows Santa yet.

Good to see AY back with "special" MD-11's.

Didn't they always have an MD-11 with santa on it? I think he was carrying a bag of presents.

They had them previously but not "always", hence the "Good to see AY back with "special" MD-11's." remark.

Just realized that my post might have suggested that it was coming in today...sorry, that's not what I meant. Just meant in general, if you're out around 4pm to be on the look out for it.

Of course, Senga & Nick are both at the JFK now watching OH-LGB (instead of LGC) landing and saying, WTF, tha Mike is an idiot :)

does it make sense to sit in traffic to go out in bad weather to catch a plane just because it 'might come in' with a santa sticker?
